Objectives:

-          To design the newspaper layout for the MUN.

-          To learn how to use properly the MUN blog.

Activity description:

-          To research ideas for the newspaper and adapt them to concord with this year’s theme.

-          The blog creator will teach how to upload and manage thing in the blog.

 Materials: Computer

Self- evaluation: 

 In my opinion I consider the newspaper template is really goodsince it combines with this year’s theme. I have managed to properly manage the blog, and I’m able to rearrange it.

Date: Oct-19-2010

Objectives:

-          To organize the MUN’s programme.

-          To design the MUN’s programme brochure.

Activity description:

-          Organizing the place and time the different activities of the MUN will take place.

-          Based on this information design a brochure to allocate this data in.

 Materials: Computer

Self- evaluation:

The event was carefully planned, arranging that every section of it has a time and place to take place. The transitions of one place to another are all arranged.

Date:  Sept-28-2010

-          To write the invitation letter that is going to be addressed to the guest schools.

-          Translate the letter into spanish.

Activity description:

-          Based on last year’s invitation letter, write this year’s one. The letter will have to address this year’s theme and topics.

Self- evaluation:

I think the invitation was properly written, and that the teacher will approve it.

Objectives:

-          To design a logo for each commission, according to this year’s theme, the environment.

-          To contact the guest schools.

Activity description:

-          Look for ideas to design the logos.

-          Research the person to contact in the guest schools. 

 Materials: Computer

Self- evaluation:

From my point of view I think I got some good ideas for the logos design which the main logo can now be based on. All the mails of the sponsors at the guest school were found.

MUN III Preparation 1

Date:  Sept-14-2010

Objectives:

-          To coordinate the activities that will take place during the third MUN at CGB.

-          Selection of students for each commission as well as Press.

-          To design a logo and slogan for the MUN.

-          To design a layout for the MUN newspaper.

Activity description:

To discuss with the MUN staff how the event will be carried out this year.

Materials: None required

Self- evaluation:

I consider that although all the objectives were not able to be carried out, we did make a big progress in the MUN organization.
